None of the timber can be sold for Jess than the appraised prices as given herein, and any bidding over and above the said appraised prices shall be by “per centage,” the per cent bid to be added to the appraised price of cach kind of timber advertised on the land. No bids of less than 5 per cent will be entertained or accepted. Purchasers of any of said timber at said sale must pay down in cash at time of sale 50 per cent of the appraised value of the timber, based on the estimated quantity, and must give bond to the State in an amount at least double the appraised value of the timber, conditioned upon cutting all of said kinds of timber that there may be upon the land (be it more or less than the estimate) clean, acre by acre, and paying the State the balance that may be due therefor, and for the faithful performance of all the terms and condi- tions of the law governing such’ matters. Permits will be issued to the purchasers, good up to and to expire on June 1, 1913, for the cutting and removing of such timber, and the law allows the Timber Board, by unani- mous vote, to grant one extension of time, of not more than one logging season, if good reason is given for not having been able to complete the cutting and removing of the timber within the original time limit of the Permit. All timber cut is to be scaled or counted on the land where cut by a regular State Land Examiner, and is not to be removed from such land until it has been so scaled or counted, and final settlement is to be ‘based on such scale and count. The application of the Board of Super- visors of the town of Wirt, asking for an appropriation of $500 from the County Road and Bridge fund was read Commissioner King moved the adoption of the following resolution: Resolved that the sum of $500 be and the same is hereby appropriated from the County road and Bridge fund to the Town of Wirt to aid said Town in the jrepair and@ construction of roads and bridges. The motion to adopt the reso- lution was seconded by Commissioner. 0’ Brien and carried by unanimous vote. It being the time set for hearing upon the petition for the establishment of = highway on the line between the Towns of Grand Rapids and Arbo, the same Was then taken under consideration.
