Resolved, That we most heartily {approve and endorse the wise | policy of our state in setting aside the tract of land at the headquart- ers of the Mississippi as a state | park; of maintaining the park in } its condition of original natural beauty, and of conducting as a ' state institution for the use of and} | the pleasures of the people. We | suggest a policy of increased ap- propriations, the same to be used; for the purpose of making the | park more easily accessable to all | \ the people; of still further protec- | | ting its natural scenery and ex- | ploiting the fact of the park’s exist- lence. We want the people of the} | state to become more familiar with | the park and its purpose and to that end we urge the members of | this association to give the insti-| | tution the publicity it so much de- | serves and ought to have. | | Resolved.
