He had been killed by the Saturday west bound passenger train in an unknown way. His body, horribly mangled, was taken to Deer River. Infanticide at Bovey. The Bovey Iron News reports a case of infant murder at that town last week. A young Finnish women, nam- ed Senja Maki, is alleged to be the unnatural mother. The child, when found in a lumber yard, was gagged and had been choked to death. The matter was presented to the grand jury, but the sheriff's office was not notified aud it is said the guilty mother has made her escape from Bovey. New Brick Yard For Feeley. The town of Feeley is on the verge ofa substantial business boom, ac- cording to Cashier L. M. Bolter of the First State bank of Grand Rapids. Mr. Bolter made a. business visit to that town Monday and reports that a deal has been practically closec with an experienced brick making concern for the establishment there of a large brick making plant.
