— 4 OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS —OF THE— BOARD i SCHOOL DIRECTORS DISTRICT NO. 1. Grand Rapids, Minn., Dec. 2ist, 1908. Regular pitenne of the School Boara of District No, one held in their office, all mem- bers present. Upon motion, the offer of F. W. Miller to putin a pum the Cowhorn Lake school for the sum of $10.00 was accepted, the pump and piping to be furnished by thefdistrict and said Miller to furnish all other material and perform all labor necessary. Upon motion it was decided to retain mem- bership in “The Associated School Boards” and to pay the annual fee of $3.00. The board having visited the new school building at Third River and found it satis- factory, it was moved that said building be accepted, which motion prevailed. Messrs Aiken and Reusswig having visited new school building at Feeley reported that they found the same in good condition except that the plastering is poor. Upon motion the building was accepted providing that the contractors would agree toa reduction of $100.00 from the contract Price on account of the defective plastering. It was moved to discontinue the telephone service in the local school buildings if the company attempted to raise the price of rent of the same. The motion was seconded and carried.
