Mother of Mrs. John Sempf Succumbs to Iiness Which had Affected her for Some Time. Mrs. Hannah E. Snyder, wife of J. W. Snyder. residing a few miles above Walker on the west shore of the lake, died Sunday morning in the Sister’s hospital at Cass Lake whither she had been taken a tew days previ- ously for treatment for obstructive jaundice from whieh she had been suffering for some time. Her daugh- ter, Mrs, John Sempf, and Mr. Sempf went up to Cass Lake Saturday even- } ing 1n response to a message but did not know until their arrival there just how serious her condition was. They were with her at the hour of death and brought the body to Walker on | Monday morning's train, ‘The funeral took place Wednesday afternoon fiom the Congregational | church, Rev.
