Organizer Bramerd of the Improved Order of Red Men completed his charter list last week, with about fifty members, and on Saturday evening “Drumbeater” Tribe was instituted under the direction of Grand Sachem Myers of Austin, Minn. The new fraternal order starts out with a much larger nembership than is usually re- corded for the initial meeting, and Mr, Brainerd has reason to feel that his efforts have been fruittul of very flat- tering results. The following officers were elected: Past Sachem and Prophet, C, T. Glover; Sachem, Geo. Riddell; Senior Sagimore, John Hepfel; Junior Sagi- more, Robert Whitaker; First Sennap, T. Benton; Second Sennap, J. F. Mc- Cormick; outer wicket, J. W. Foley; inner wicket, B. O. Johnson; Chief ot Records and Collector of Wampun, M, Dufficey; Keeper of Wampun, M, McAlpine. ‘Trustees were elected as follows; Luc D’Anjou, Frank Nelson and J. Rielly. Wood, and Plenty of It. W. Martin has finally received the necessary power to propel his sawing machine, and he 1s now saw- ing up wood in all lengths that may be called for at the rate of ten thous- and cords a day—more or less, as the case may be» Martin’s wood 1s the best, too. He has all grades of the most desirable hardwood, both grees and dry, as well as seasoned and green solt wood. Hereafter when you want a load or twenty loads of wood you can get it at once, because Huntley, the drayman, takes orders and makes prompt delivery. — It will the village to find a man to saw wood for you. Martin does it all and de- livers it to you m your shed in the highest style of the art, and more than that you can save money by doing business with Martin. He’s got the wood on hand and it must be turned into cash as rapidly as possible.
