After some consideration the auditor wus instructed to-request the secretary of state to furnish the county with copies of all railroad mortgages, or trust deeds, effecting the title to railroadjands in Itasca county. After due consideration the auditor was instructed to advertise for, sealed bids for the care and maintenance of paupers in Itasea county, the county furnishing the poor farm, buildings, team and stock and machinery. ‘The board then proceeded to draw, or se- lect seventy-two names of persons, to serve as grand jurors for the year 1898, and seven- ty-two names of persons to serve as petit jurors for 1898.
