Oil Pool Locater Finds Army Plane Sunk in Bay By the Associated Press. HOUSTON, Tex., Jan. 20.—An in- strument such as oilmen use in lo- cating new crude pools helped spot the remnants of a submerged Army airplane. ‘The ship plunged into Galveston Bay recently. Efforts to locate it failed until an oil well cementing | company loaned its electrical device and a technician. By recording the increase and decrease of electric energy generated by approach to and departure from the sunken plane, its exact location was plotted about a mile and a half from the ‘| supposed spot of its sinking.
