Dr. Phillips, who.has been at Epiphany for 17 years, is the new dean of Washington Cathe- dral. Mr. Lawrence, born in Mosinee, ‘Wis., November 11, 1899, attended public schools in Seattle, Wash., leaving high school in 1918 to enlist in the Navy. After the first World ‘War, he attended the University of ‘Washington. He became active in investment banking circles in New York, Seattl: and Wi and at the time of his death was acting regional finance examiner of the agency at Kansas City, Mo,, although he was recently assigned to special duty here. Mr. Lawrence was a member of the Amercian Legion. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Alice Lawrence, Mansassas; two children, 12, and PFrank, jr., 14; & brother, Lt., Walter A. Lawrence, U. 8.
