The Quakers plan to tell their | young men only why, as the new generation of Friends, they should not bear arms. ‘The problem of non-aggression will be a major topic when 600 representatives of 10,000 Quakers of Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, | Missouri and Colorado have their | annual meeting in Wichita in October. Peace Caravan to Tour. When classes at Friends University | in Wichita ended recently President | W. A. Young called the young men of the school together and gave them an “asignment” for their | vacation consideration of what they should do if the United States be- came involved in a war. He told | them it was a matter of individual conscience.
