Anderson Jardine, who defied church authorities to officlate at the marriage of the Duke of ‘Windsor to Wallls Warfleld, was in Washington today in his new role of movie producer. From 2 to 4 pm. today and to- morrow. he will interview Washing- ton aspirants for stardom in his movie, a girl whose qualities could entitle her to be known as “Miss Spiritual.” The Hamilton Hotel lobby is the setting for the inter- views. “We have written a scenario,” Dr. Jardine said, “showing the pitfalls which await young people and we have found the money to produce it. “Now we are going about the country, looking for the kind of girl P | we want to star in the picture, to be a model to other young people. I want to de-oomph the oomph girls —and find an actress who does not drink nor smoke and whose spiritual qualities will be an ‘inspiration to young people.” In each State or city visited, Dr. Jardine selects the girl he believes best qualified.
