NEW YORK, Nov. 1.—Earlier frac- tional stock losses were widened later in & quiet curb market today. Higher priced shares showed losses running to a point or more. Numerous shares held about even. Tosing 1 to 2 points were Alumnium Co., Newmont Mining, Sherwin-Wil- liams and Gulf Oil, Utilities fell behind a little. Elec- tric Bond & Share, American Gas & Electric, United Gas and Niagara Hudson Power were down fractions.
