Fieser were in Bedford Springs, Pa., the greater THE Vice Chairman of the American National Red Cross and part of last week. They expect to return to their home on Fdgemoor Lane today. Judge J. P. McCoy of Birmingham, Ala., has joined Mrs. McCoy in Drummond, where she has been the guest of her sister, Mrs. Harold Dean Scantlin, for several months. Mr. Charles P. McCoy also of Birmingham, accompanied his father to Drummond. Mrs. Allen Furlow of Somerset will be hostess at luncheon at the Kenwood Country Club Wednesday in honor of Miss Elizabeth Furlow, who came yesterday to be her guest for a few days. Miss Furlow is a cousin of Mr. Furlow, former Representative from the Red Wing District of Minnesota. She has been in New York for several months and will go from Somerset to her home in Pasa- dena, Calif. Mrs. Charles H. Squire and her son, Mr. Richard Squire, are expected to arrive in New York August 24 or 25 and to come directly afterward to their home in Chevy Chase Gardens. Mrs. Squire and her son have been abroad since early in July, visiting England and the Scandinavian countries. Western Russia and stopped for a< few days with Mr. and Mrs. Fred E Waller in Moscow. Mrs. Waller is a former resident of Chevy Chase Gar- dens, having been before her mar- riage to Mr. Waller, who is in the consular service in Moscow, Miss Mabel Brunner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Mrs. Emil Bauersfeld of Bethesda and her children have taken a cottage at Thompsons Point, on the Lake Champain shoreline, in Vermont, apd will stay there through the month of August. Dr. Bauersfeld will join his family there later in the month. They expect to be away until after Labor day Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer C. Powick of Drummond and their daughter, Miss Aliee Powick, are in Norristown, Pa., for a two weeks' visit with Mrs, Powick's mother, Mrs. William Powick. Mrs. R. Hanson Weightman and her son, Mr. Richard Weightman of Som- erset, have left for a stay of several weeks with friends in California, Mr. and Mrs, John R.
