Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Mildred Fuller Wallace, president of the Washington Home for Incurables and widow of Hugh Campbell Wallace, President Wilson's Ambassador to France, were incomplete last night. Mrs. Wallace, 68, died suddenly Fri- day in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, New York City, where she was taken after & heart attack in the automobile in which she was riding to her Summer home in Bar Harbor, Me., from her house here at 1800 Massachusetts avenue. Word was being awaited from Mrs. Wallace's sister, Mrs. Jane Francis, who lives in Paris, France, before deciding the time of the funeral, which is to be held here, with interment in Tacoma, Wash. Other survivors are four grandchildren, Patricia, Ruth, Hugh Campbell and Melville Wallace. Mrs. Wallace came to Washington with her father, Chief Justice Mellville Fuller of the United States. She sub- sequently married Campbell here. For 30 years Mrs. Wallace was a member of the Board of Directors of the Home for Incurables.
