Loans with stock conversion priv- fleges which felt the weight of sell- ing owing to lower share prices were the American Typefounders issue of 1950, off about 10; Youngstown Sheet & Tube, off more than a point; Stude- baker 6s, down around 8, and Pure Oil 4145, about 4 lower. Medium-priced obligations fractions to & point or so down were St .Paul 55, International Telephone 5s, Mis- souri Pacific 55 and Walworth 4s. United States Treasury obligations up about 1-32 to 3-32 of a point or %0 were the 2'»s, the 23%s of 1959 and the 2%s of 1947. Guaranteed loans turned in even wider gains. INSURANCE STOCKS NEW YORK. C, WEDNESDA DALY OIL OUTPU SETSNEW RECOR Heavy Spring Consumption Cuts Gasoline Stocks Despite Gain. By the Associated Press. NEW YORK, April 28.—Pushing ahead to the highest level ever re- corded, crude ofl production averaged 3,496,400 barrels daily during the week ended April 24, according to the American Petroleum Institute. This was an increase of 32,850 barrels a day. Despite the sharp rise in the flow of oil, heavy 8pring consumption caused & dip in gasoline supplies at refineries, terminals and in transit to 82,303,000 barrels at the end of the week from 82,703,000 in the previous week. Production east of California was again responsible for most of the gain in crude output. Reports received from refiners op- erating 89 per cent of the industry's capacity indicate the industry ran 3,- 125,000 barrels of crude daily into the «| period since the SBummer of 1930. refineries. The same companies in the | preceding period, operating at a slower rate, started 3,055,000 barrels. daily through the refining plants. Cracked gasoline was estimated by the institute to have totaled 715,000 barrels daily, an increase of 25,000 barrels. Imports of crude and refined oils were 1,314,000 barrels for the week, against 1,253,000 the week before, Re- ceipts in bond continued small, Washington Produce BUTTER—0? 4-pound prints._ 11 nound vrints, pound prints, ,\IEATS~CXHJIL’P beef. 1R: calves 16: veal 16 lamb, 24; pork loin. 24: frozen sliced bacon. 33 slab bacon, 28; com- vound_ 1:3'.: lard. 1473, LIVE STOCK—Pigs.
