DR. G. 6. ATKINS T0 PREACH HERE Auburn Professor Will Oc- cupy Mount Pleasant Con- gregational Pulpit. Dr. Galus Glenn Atkins, professor of homiletics at Auburn Theological Seminary, Auburn, N. Y., will preach at the morning service in the Mount Pleasant Congregational Church to- morrow, He was formerly minister of the Pirst Congregational Church, De- troit, where Dr. Russell J. Clinchy of Mount Pleasant church served with him as associate minister. With the service tomorrow morning, and the final session of the church school a week from tomorrow, the scheduled activities will be suspended until September 8, when the church achool will reopen. Beginning next Sunday, Mount Pleasant church will participate with All Souls’ Unitarian and the National Universalist Me- morial Churches in the seventh series of union Summer services of those churches. The union services will continue until September 8. The young people’s organizations have arranged a schedule of outings and social service for the Summer months. They will send several delegates to the Northover conference of Congregational young people, to be held at Bound Brook, N. J., from June 25 to July 2, under the auspices of the Middle Atlantic Congregational Conference. The church school officers and teaching staff will hold their closing conference next Tuesday evening at Jessup Blair Park. Dr. Clinchy will go to Deering, H., next week, where he will stay with his family during July and August. VISITING MINISTER SPEAKS TOMORROW Rev. Max A, Kapp of Fitchburg, Mass., to Preach at Universal- ist National Memorial. Rev. Max A. Kapp, minister of the Universalist Church of Fitchburg, Mass., is to preach tomorrow at 11 oclock in the Universalist National Memorial Church. Besides his work with his church, Mr. Kapp is editor of Team-Work, the monthly maga- gine published by the Ministers’ Association of the Universalist Church. His sermon theme tomorrow is “Re- ligion’s Central Sanities.” The Sunday evening group will/ meet for supper at the home of Al- berta Williams and Maurine Goding, in Aurore Hills, at 6 o’clock. At the final meeting of the Y. P.| C. Rev. C. B. Austin, pastor of the West | Washington Baptist Church, will preach Sunday at 11 am. on “The Right Sort of Church.” A service will be conducted at 8 pm. by the Bell Party, composer- evangelists, from California, who will give a program of piano and vocal solos with violin obbligato, readings, duets and chorus numbers. The party is composed of John J. Bell, G. Grace Bell and Elizabeth Bell. An anniversary get-together prayer meeting will be held in the Sunday achool house, led by the four stand- mg Church Committees, Thursday . evening. SUMMER SCHEDULE AT GRACE LUTHERAN Evening Services and Most of Organized Activities Will Be Omitted. At Grace Lutheran Church the eve- ning services and most of the organ- ized activities will be omitted during July and August. A number of visit- ing ministers will occupy the pulpit during the vacation period. At Sunday’s service the pastor, Rev. Gerhard E.
