HE Chief Executive and Mrs. Roosevelt have issued invita- tions for the reception in honor of members of Congress Monday evening, January 21, at 9 olock at the White House. This will be the third of the official recep- tions given annually. President and Mrs. Roosevelt will entertain at dinner Thursday, January 24, for the head of foreign missions. The Secretary of the Treasury and Mrs. Henry Morgenthau, jr.; will have as their guests next week the latier's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Werner Josten of Northampton, Mass. Mr. Josten is the well-known composer, and some of his composi- tions were played in Washington last vear by the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra. The Attorney General and Mrs. Homer 8. Cummings had as their guest overnight Mr. John Murphy, who will return to his home in New York today. Mrs, Bartow S Weeks, who has been the guest of the Attorney Gen- eral and Mrs. Cummings, will leave today for her home in New York Speaker and Mrs. Byrns Guests at McMillan Home. ‘The Speaker of the House and Mrs. | Joseph W.
