VARIETY PROGRAM 10 BE BROADCAST Fannie Brice and Olsen’s Orchestra Are Among Headliners. A variety program featuring Fannie Brice, comedienne, and George Olsen's Orchestra will be a highlight of the broadcast tonight by WRC and other N. B C. “red” metwork stations. he program is scheduled from 7 to - & 30 o'clock. Miss Brice will sing “My Bill.” The orchestra will contribute a nurgber of popular melodies, including “My Temptation,” “An Orchid to You” and “My Indoor, Outdoor Girl.” Ragtime Hits on Program. Two of America’s greatest ragtime hits, “Everybody’s Doin’ It, " and “When You Wore a Tulip,” are included in the Corn Cob Pipe Club. The program iginate in the new studios of ‘WRVA in Richmond, Va. Helen Corbin Heinl, Washington's celebrated concert pianist, will be the guest soloist on the program with the United States Marine Band over WMAL and associated N. B. C. “blue” network stations. - She Wfll play Liszt's “Hun- garian Fantasy.” ‘WMAL's other outstanding N. B. C. attractions include a concert by the Revellers Quartet and a broadcast on the Century of Progress Exposition in Chicago which features a dramatic sketch based on the development of transportation. From its own studios, WMAL will ‘broadcast the weekly program of Radio Joe and his Budget Boys. Bobby Boken and Cecil Travis, two sensational young inflelders of the Washington base ball team, will be the guests on this pro- gram. 3 Concert by Pennsylvanians. Pred Waring's Pennsylvanians will present their' weekly program tonight over an augmented network of Colum- hia stations. WJSV will be a link in this chain, made up of 84 stations. The Pennsylvanians will play “Stormy ‘Weather,” “Turn on the Heat” and “Bunnyxlde Up.” The second act of “Yeomen of the Guard” wlxllu:npmenud durinx g ulx; opera gems from m Soloists with the orchestra will be Rhoda Arnold, soprano; Crane Calder, bass; Kinne, e, and Theo Karle, tenor.
