Cc—+4 ENVOY OF JAPAN ON RADIO TONIHT Viscount Kikujiro Ishii to Be Heard Upon Arrival at San Francisco. Viscount Kikujiro Ishii, special repre- sentative of the Japanese government who is en route to Washington to con- fer with President Roosevelt, will be heard tonight over WJSV and affiliated Columbia staticns soon after his arrival in the United States. The broadcast, | originating in San Francisco, is sched- uled from 10:15 to 10:30 o'clock. Irvin S. Cobb, Fred Waring’s Penn- sylvanians, Guy Lombardo and his Royal Canadians, and Kate Smith, also will be heard over WJSV in their regu- lar weekly programs. In addition, there Will be the weekly concert of light opera gems at 5, during which Channon Collinge will direct a condensed version of Gilbert and Sullivan’s “Yeoman of the Guard.” Circus songs will be featured by the Travelers’ Quartet and Dolph Martin's Orchesira during their program from 6:30 to 6:45. The principal number will be “The Man on the Flying Trapeze.” New Serial Opens.
