TOC H WILL HOLD ‘SERVICE OF LIGHT Program Will Be Given at Cathedral on Evening of April 22. The members of Toc H, the interna- tional organization born of the World War, which established its first branch in the United States in Washington, will hold their annual “Service of Light” and rededication in the great choir of Washington Cathedral April 22 at 8 p.m. The sermon will be deliv- ered by Rev. J. De Wolf Hubbard, padre of Toc H. Members of the group will march in the procession with the cathe- dral choir and clergy. Friends of Toc H and the general public are invited to be present. ‘The cathedral will observe the birth- day of William Shzkespeare on April 23 at 4 oclock, which happens to be | St. George's day, according to the church calendar. Representative James M. Beck of Pennsyivania will deliver the address on “The Moral and Spin- tual Values of Shakespear’s Works.” There will be commemorative prayers and special music dating back to Eliza- bethian times when Shakespeare was creating his plays and beautiful son- nets. Daughters of the American Revolution in tne great choir next Monday at 5 o'clock, Mrs. Rus- sell William™ Magna, president general, \will present the official banner of that organization to the cathedral. At Lutheran Church of the Atone- ment the large choir, under the direc- tion of Prof. Emerson Myers, will sing special Easter music at the 7 am. and 11 am. services. Mrs. Arsenau, Mr. Volland, Mr. Ritter and Mrs. Mills will sing solo parts. Pastor Snyder will give the first com- munion to the class confirmed last Sun- day and Holy Thursday evening. The sacrament will be administered at the early and 11 o'clock services. In the evening at 7 o'clock in the parish hall, the Sunday school will give a pageant telling the story of Easter. Next Sunday evening the annual roll (call of all the confirmation classes will take place. ‘The demonstration dinner under the direction of Henry Wagner and the Ladies’ Aid will be held April 20.
