WINTER SERVICES T0 RUN 2 WEEKS Evangelical Program Begins Tomorrow at Ninth Sifeet Church. ‘The Winter evangelistical services at the Ninth Street Christian Church will | begin temorrow morning and continue for the next two wceks, under the leadership of Dr. and Mrs. R. E. Jope, from the Govans Christian Church, Baltimore, parents of Rev. Clifford H. Jope, pastor of the local church. Robert Hendershot of Greenville, IIl, baritone soloist, will direct the music at the services to be held each evening, except Saturday, at 7:45 o'clock. The subject of Dr. Jope's sermons tomorrow will be “Th2 Transfiguration” at the morning service, at 11 o'clock, d “The Shadow of a Great Man” at the evening service, at which an added feature will be a pantomine of the hymn “Rock of Ages” by seven young women. In preparation for the meetings, the Jocal pastor has been assisted by a large number of teams of workers in calling all of the 1,400 members of the c wurch, and those outside of the church at whom the campaign is directed, and 8 series of prayer meetings have been held at a number of the members’ homes in all sections of the city for prayer and consecration.
