MOUNT RAINIER, MM, July 26—A jfew hours after he was acquitted on a charge of reckless driving in Police Court, Robert Matsudaira, 23 years old, son of the former mayor of Edmonston, was arrested on a charge of man- slaughter last night in connection with | a fatal automobile accident. Young Matsudaira was the driver of a car which fatally injured Charles Christensen of 4 Sibley avenue, Hyatts- | timore Boulevard in front of the home of Mayor Lemuel L. Gray Sunday night. Seversl witnesses testified in Police Court yesterday afternoon that Mr. Christensen darted in front of the auto- mobile, and Judge J. Chew Sheriff ac- cordingly dismissed the charge of reck- less driving preferred against Matsu- daira by Corp. G. A. Wollenberg of the State police force.
