The marriage of Miss Nell Simmons of Braintree, Mass., to Mr. Henry Bean, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter R. Bean of Braintree, took place Saturday in the home of the bride’s brother and sister- in-law, Maj. James Stevens Simmons, U. S. A, and Mrs. Simmons, on Rod- man street, this city. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Dr. George F\mg:m at noon. Mrs. Raymond Crist, planist, playing the wedding music, and an informal wedding breakiast for those who witnessed the ceremony followed. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Maj. Simmons, and wore a gown of ice blue satin with a girdle of lanvin green. The gown was an empire model, the skirt long and flar- ing and short puffed sieeves. Her large picture hat matched her costume and she carried pink roses and pink del- phinium. Miss Alice Ingersoll of Springfield, Mass., was mald of honor and wore a costume of flowered chiffon made over pink crepe with hat to match and car- ried pink and white delphinium. Little Fannie-Scott Simmons, pink and carried clusters of pink and white sweet peas. Mr. Gilbert Bean of Braintree was best man for his brother. Mrs. Simmon.. sister-in-law of the bride, who received the guests with the wedding party, was in flowered chiifon and wore a corsage bouquet of pink sweet peas.’' She was assisted by Mrs. and Mrs. McKinley.
