Collier, in charge of the National revival crusade at the Masonic Auditorium, Thirteenth street and New York avenue, announces the revival spirit is growing, and that nearly 100 conversions have been re- ported. E. G. Bliss is chairman, for the purpose of putting unemployed Washington wage earners to work, The Work Creation Commit- tee is a branch of the District of Co- lumbia Employment Committee. Leaders in every religious denomina- tion, Protestant, Catholic and Jewish, will ‘aid and the synagogue leaders have already taken an active part speaking at their meetings and distributing the special church literature prepared by the committee. E. C. Graham, chairman of the Un- employment Committee, has stated that funds on hand are barely sufficient to carry on the program of “made” work until April 1, Col. Bliss pointed out, and stated that Washington has already been thoroughly combed for funds for this purpose. The only other method, Col. Bliss says, is for Washingtonians to rally to the support of their less fortunate brothers by doing now the odd jobs that would normally be done in the course of the year and thus creating work for Washingtonians.
