The weight of the Garfleld Citizens’ Association has been thrown into the fight being waged by other similar bodies in favor of the 60-40 plan of fiscal relations for the District and against the Mapes tax increase bill The office of the District engineer will be asked by the association to re- port on progress of sewerage proposed for the Garfield section, as well as to make street repairs at the intersection of Jasper street with Twentieth and Twenty-first streets southeast.
