ADDISON DIES;| ONCE SERVED IN CAPITAL Burial Probably Will Be Tomor- row in Arlington National Cemetery. Capt. David Martin Addison, Supply Corps, U. 8. N., formerly stationed at | the Washington Navy Yard, died yester- day at the New York Naval Hospital after a long illness. Burial probably will be tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock | in Arlington National Cemetery, the Navy Department said Capt. Addison, who is survived by his widow, Mrs. Venette R. Addison, Clear Springs, Md., was a native of Salina. Kans., where he was born on June 6, 1872, He received a temporary appoint- ment in the Navy in 1898 and was permanently appointed a year later Capt. Addison was accouiting officer | at the Philadelphia Navy Yard during | the World War and then served as| supply officer at the Portsmouth, N. H., | Navy Yard for two years before coming | to Washington. After leaving here in 1928, he became supply officer at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. McAllister, United States Coast Guard, retired, formerly engineer in chief of the Coast Guard, and since his retirement president of the American Bureau of Shipping, died suddenly in New York yesterday. For many years he was a resident of Wash- ington. He was born in Dorchester, N. J, May 29, 1867, and was graduated from Cornell University in 1887 with a mas- ter of engineering degree.
