RELIGIOUS CONFERENCE TO BE HELD HERE IN MAY Congregational and Christian Dele- gates From Middle Atlantic States Coming to Capital. The Middle Atlantic Conference of Congregational and Christian Churches has accepted the invitation of the Mount Pleasant Congregational Church to hold its annuel convention in 1932 in the local church, and establish its headquarters there a few days prior to and during the sessions. The dates of the convention are May 5 and 6, with sessions in the morning, after- noon and evening There are 70 Congregational and 30 Christian Churches in the conference, with a membership of 25,000, located in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia, and the meeting in May will be the second since the union of the two denominations was completed.
