SOCIETY President Hoover Will Entertain Some Members of the C- ongressional Set at White House Dinner Tonight. RESIDENT HOOVER' will have a small dinner party at ‘“e White House tonight, most of the guests being members of Con- gress. Yesterday afterncon Mrs. Hoover | took tea on the Constitution, the offi- cers of the ship having shown Mrs. Charles Francis Adams, wife of the Becretary of the Navy, the courtesy of being hostess for the afternoon. Mrs. Hoover will attend the cere- | mony of laying the cornerstone of the | Phoebe Hearst Kindergarten School on ‘Wisconsin avenue, on ground that was | formerly a portion of the estate of Rear Admire. son. The ceremony will take place at 3 o'clock and entrance to the school will be through -the grounds of Rear Admiral and Mrs. Grayson's home, the street for the school not having been cut through as yet.
