Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things Wherewith one may edify another.” Romans, xiv.17-19.) The lesson-sermon also includes the following passage from the Christian Science text book, “Science and Health, With Key to the Scriptures,” by Mary Baker Eddy: “Man’s enslavement to the most relent- less masters—passion, selfishness, envy, hatred and revenge—is conquered only by a mighty struggle. Every hour of delay makes the struggle more severe. If man is not victorious over the pas- sions, they crush out happiness, health and manhood. Here Christian Science is the soverign panacea, giving strength to the weakness of mortal mind— strength from the immortal and omni- potent mind—and lifting humanity above itself into purer desires, even into spiritual power and good will,to man.” (Page 407.) not meat and drink; but righteousness | DR. 31200 70 BEGIN TRAVEL SERMONS New York Avenue_ Presbyte- rian Pastor Preaches Twice Tomorrow.
