This is the first of four structures of equal size, designed as a group. Hotel Nears Completion. The 11-story apartment hotel of L. A. Barr, being erected at 1713 G street. is nearing completion. This structure was estimated to cost $275,000. A $425,000 seven-story apartment building is being erected at 3900 Four- teenth street by Goldsmith & Keller. Baer and Scholz, bullders, are now ; building a 12-story apartment at 2150 Pennsylvania avenue, at a cost of $350,000. Other projects of this type now near- | ing completion include the Gelman Construction Co. job at 3206 Wiscon- <in avenue, an 8-story apartment, val- ued at $275.000; two structures being built by the Seaboard Realty Co. at 7611 and 7701 Georgia avenue, 5-story build- ings, each estimated to cost $125,000: and the three-story apartment being built by G. B, Mullin Co. at 4025 Thir- teenth street, at a cost of $75,000. The Ell & Kay Building & Invest- ment Co. recently ccmpleted a five- story apartment house at 1620 Fuller street, at a cost in excess of $240,000. The building corttains 70 apartments. In addition, there is the 12-story ho- tel being erected for Joseph J. Moebs on the triangular site on Connecticut ave- nue and Nineteenth street, overlooking Dupont Circle, the structure to contain 500 rooms and occupying a site contain- ing an area of more than 20,000 square feet.
