RESID] HOOVER returned to the te House at mid-day after being at his camp on the Rapidan over Sunday. He will receive Capt. Francisco Lajous, commanding officer of the Argentine frigate Presidente Sarmiento tomorrow at 12:30 o'clock, and the other officers of the training ship from South America. Capt. Lajous, who served as naval attache of the Argentine embassy here for several years, with the officers ahd cadets from the frigate will arrive tomorrow morning and will spend the day in the Capital, returning to New ¥York in the early evening. ‘The Ambassador of Argentina, Senor Felipe Espil, who was first secretary of the embassy when Capt. Lajous was n ttache, will give a reception to- m afternoon from 5 to 6 o'clock for the officers and cadets to which only men are invited. x e acting Secretary of the Navy, Mr. Ernest Lee Jahncke, will' be host at | luncheon tomorrow, entertaining Capi. Lajous and the officers of the frigate in the Chinese room of the Mayflower Other guests will include the bassador and members of the em- bassy staff, and the Navy Band Or- chestra will play during the.festivity. Secretary and Mrs. Stimson to Fete British Prime Minister. The Secretary of State and Mrs. Henry L. Stimson’ will entertain Prime Minister Ramsay MacDonald of Eng- land in the hunting lodge in the high- lands of Scotland whicn they leased for a vacation.
