Mrs. Harry Selzer, 35 years old, of 407 G street, narrowly escaped being crushed when knocked down by a street car at Eleventh and F streets yesterday afternoon. Falling to the street, Mrs. Selzer was up under the front end of the car before Motorman T. A. Hamel succeeded in bringing it to a stop. Mrs. Selzer was going north across F street and the street car was going west when she was struck. A man succeeded in helping her from under the car. Mrs. Selzer said she did not care to go to a hospital, but later was treated at her home by a physiclan.
