TLONDON, December 4—Sir John Simon, chairman of the board of in- quiry which is investigating the crash und destruction of the dirigible R-101 in morthern France in October, denied vodiy that there was a ‘woman aboard wt the time of the catastrophe or that there were large gquantities of intoxi- cating lquors on the ship and that its erew was not sober. Sir John stated emphatically at to- day’s session of the court of inquiry that there was no woman on the craft, adding that the woman mentioned “had now reached Rome on a flight she was undertaking.” Referred to Miss Spooner.
