NEW YORK, October 8.—Allan Pinkerton, president of the Pinkerton National Detective Agency, founded by his grandfather, Allan Pinkerton, for whom he was named, died in Presby- terian Hospital yesterday of compli- cations resulting from being gassed in the World War. He was 5¢ years old.
