SAN FRANCISCO, June 13.—An affi- davit signed by Eugene Mozier, young ex-naval aviator, purporting to show that Eunice Pringle, 17-year-old dancer, plotted to obtain “a big plece of money” from Alexander Pantages, Los Angeles millionaire theater owner, convicted of attacking the girl, has been sent to| Btate Attorney General U. S. Webb. Mozier says in the affidavit he pre- wsented his evidence to District Attorney Buron Fitts of Los Angeles while | Pantages was being prosecuted for the | alleged attack. He said Fitts listened, | but “did nothing about it and warned me to keep my mouth shut and keep away from Pantages’ attorneys.” The afidavit was submitted to Webb | with a letter from Bernard Nugent, San Francisco attorney, asking that it | be investigated “in ‘the interest of fustice and public_policy.” Pantages recently was released from | Jall under $100,000 bond pending ap- | 1 from his conviction.
