Special Dispatch to The Star. NEW YORK, June 11.—So far as the effect on bond trading today was con- cerned, first impressions of the an- nouncement from Paris that the $300.- 000,000 German reparations loan would be priced at 90 for 5'z per cent were depressing and during the first hour the list ged in most departments. Later, however, as volume fell off, prices recovered and by noon were showing & net advance. While the price of the German loan at 90 was considered low, in view of the fact that tentative subscriptions have been taken here at 91 and 92, the realization that the low price will clear the loan out of the way in short order proved reassuring. Another factor aiding the advance was the small total of other new cap- ital offerings, at around $10,000,000. Money rates were unchanged, Wwith funds in plentiful supply in both the call and time markets. h Once again, the feature of the high grade group was the activity in Liberty fourth 41s, which were 2/32 higher. Other points of strength in this group were Atchison general ds, Pacific 4'¢s, Union Pacific first ds, Philadelphia Co. 5s, Columbia Gas 58 and New York Telephone 4!;s. There were fractional declines in New York Central 4s, Pennsylvania 415s and Great Northern 7s. International Telephone & Telegraph 4155 led the stock privilege group down- ward again as stocks declined. Texas Corporation 5s, American Telephone 41,5 (1939) and Baltimore & Ohio con- vertible 41:5 were other active issues.
