HE Vice President, Mr. Curtis, will be the guest of honor at dinner this evemn: of Mrs. Jacob Leander Loose, and will later be a guest in her box at the annual hunt breakfast and ball which will be given in the Mayflower Hotel as the closing festivity of the four days of the National Capital Horse Show. With smiling skies greeting the last day of the National Capital Horse Show, at Bradley Farms, the “gallery” today will, without a doubt, be neck-to-neck with the large and interesting company at yesterday's performance. Smartly tailored suits, with fur neckpieces pre- dominated in the striking costumes worn by the ladies at the show yes'erday. Today there is a promise of a truly Summer fashion parade, for although there were blue skies vesterday, there was accompanying it @ snappy breeze which turnsd milady’s thoughts to wraps and furs. Mrs. Edward Everett Gann, sister of the Vice President, Mr. Charles Curtis, arrived at the show early yesierday and stayed: for about an hour. She had on a becoming gown of king bilue flat crepe, fuhloned wilh long .sleeves and a deep cape effect at the back. There were touches of ecru lace at the neck- line and at the wrists, and the skirt was cut eircular at the hemline. She wore a shiny black straw hlt a fox NING STAR, WASHINGTO embroidered in a flower design in va- rious hues. Countess Cornelia Szechenyi, daugh- ter of the Minister of Hungary, wore a suit of green and yellow homespun, fashioned with a hip line coat and the skirt close fitting. She wore a yellow straw hat and slippers to correspond. Mrs. Victor Alfaro, daughter-in-law of the Minister of Panama and Senora de Alfaro, had on a black heavy corded silk, with & small black straw hat and a black fox fur. One of the most striking figures at the show yesterday was Mrs. George Livingston. She wore & pearl gray heavy silk suit, the close-fitting coat falling low over the hips and the skirt to the ankles. Her blouse was of net and was made with a high ‘“choker” effect. Her hat was of gray straw with & high crown, and she had on high shoes, black patent leather with pearl gray kid tops. Mrs. Richard Porter Davidson, for- merly Miss Betty Hanna. wore a gown of grass-green flat crepe fashioned with a pleated skirt and a deep cape collar (nrming elbow sleeves. She wore a close-fitting hat of felt to match and dark green kid slipper: Mrs. Sidney F.
