St. Paul's| has been worshiping in the old church at | Eleventh and H streets, since its dedi- cation in 1844, but since the coming of Dr. Henry W. Snyder as pastor last | November ‘the congregations have | grown so large that it has been neces- | #ary to seek larger quarters. The morn- | ing services are being held at the; Metropolitan Theater. Four years ago, at the time of the merger of St. Paul's with the Epiphany Lutheran congregation a site was pur- chased, bounced by Ellicott, Thirty- sixth and Everett streets, separated from Connecticut avenue by a public park, and plans for a monumental church group were perfected which will ultimately cost $750.000. It is the first unit of this group which is now to be started. Dr. Snyder 'will preach tomorrow morning on_“Whose Duty Is It>" At 8 o'clock at Epiphany Chapel. Miss Zelma Ar- gue, have arrived in Washington to | lead a city-wide campeign, lasting three weeks, at the Full Gospel Tabernacle, North Capitol and K streets.
