Ancjent Egyptians practiced a form of dentistry, as evidenced by the find- ing of crude wood and ivory fillings in the teeth of mummies, Dr. Arthur B. members of the Cosmopolitan Club at its weekly luncheon in the Carlton Ho- tel yesterday. Dr. Crane traced the history of den- tistry, explaining that the profession -4 was introduced in America by a French dentist who came over with Lafayette. Paul Revere, celebrated for his mid- night ride, was one of America’s first dentists, the speaker said. Dr. G. Albert Smith, president of the club presided.
