Death was due to a_heart attack. Born July 25, 1863, Father Hill was educated at Gonzaga College, graduating in 1880. Following he entered the Jesuit Novitiate at Frederick. Md. After pur- suing his studies at Frederick and Woodstock College, he was ordained in ; i For six years, until going to St. Jo- seph’s a year ago, he taught at Gon- | gaza College and lectured in the George- town University Law School. Prior to then he had been assigned to George- town University for two years, Father Hill also had taught at St. Peter's, Jersey City, N. J.; Holy Cross College at Worcester, Mass., and at Fordham. He was known as an emi- nent preacher and teacher and was the author of several books, in poetry and prose. Father Hill leaves a sister, Miss Ann Hill of this city.
