Sweets, secretary of Christian education and ministérial re- Hef of the Presbyterian Church in the United States, will be the preacher at the Church of the Pilgrims, on the streets, tomorrow at 7:45 pm. Dr. Sweets has been successful through 25 years in office in developing the leadership of his denomination, both by raising many millions of dollars for the endowment and equipment of its colleges and by the preparation of a plan for ministerial pensions. SERMON ANNOUNCED. Three Days. Two prominent clergymen in the city, Dr. Earle Wilfley, pastor of Vermont Avenue Christian Church, and Dr. George M. Diffenderfer, former pastor of Luther Place Memorial Church will appear leading roles in “The Other Wise Man,” the dramatized version of | Dr. Henry van Dyke's Yuletide legend, which will be presented for the fifth consecutive year, at Luther Place Memo- rial Church, Thomas Circle, the eve- nings of December 26, 27 and 28, under the auspioces of the Bible School Asso- ciation, and with the co-operation of members of a number of church organ=- izations in the city. Committees are \\orking on details of the drama, and rehearsals of the big cast are now in progress. Many of the participants are playing the same parts that they played in the original produc- tion in December, 1925. ¢ The presentation is under the personal direction of Bess Davis Schreiner, who made the dramatized version five years ago with the consent of Dr. van Dyke, who has given permission for the an- nual production in Washington of this authorized version of his story. Denis E. Connell, appearing in the role of Artaban, the Median, will also assist in the direction of the dramatic scenes of the drama. Katherine Riggs, appearing as Narrator and Harpist throughout the five episodes, is in charge of all the musie, which accompanies the interludes and stage action. Miss Riggs is also responsible for the musical setting of the drama, which this year will have a number of new features. ‘The public is invited to attend the presentations. FELOWSHIP PROGRAM. Rev.
