The Christmas-giving service this year will be held Friday, December 13, Church, on account of the fact that the many boxes that will be sent to the mountain schools must reach these schools in time for their Christmas ex- ercises. It has been customary for the Central Presbyterian Church™ to help provide Christmas cheer for various mountain schools, such as Central Academy, Patrick County, Blue Ridge Academy, The Hollow, Va.; Lees- McRae Institute, Banner Elk, N. C. and Nacoochee Institute, Raeburn Gap, / Ga. These mountain schools are under auspices of the Presbyterian Church and are devoted entirely to the work among the mountain people.
