Mrs. Hardinge said Weems struck her and her sister with an iron bar, and drove | them from the house. She said the visit was her fourth in efforts to obtain the boys. Divorced From Weems. Mrs. Hardinge, before her marriage to the Chicago millionaire oil burner manufacturer, had been divorced from Troy Weems, and their two boys given to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Weems, their grandparents. Mail Carrier With American Motor Makes Successful Trip From Constantinople to Berlin. By the Associated Press. BERLIN, October 30.—A mail plane of the Lufthansa, piloted by Joachim von Schroeder and mounted with an American Hornet motor, yesterday flew the 1,250 miles between Constantinople and Berlin in 10 hours through stormy ‘weather. Letters mailed in Constantinople early in the morning were delivered in Berlin in the afternoon. ‘The Lufthansa plans to organize a fast Balkan mail plane service, con- necting Berlin with Angora, Persia and Afghanistan.
