Whitehurst, assistant En- gineer Commissioner, who will become co-ordinator and chief engineer of the District government on June 30, and W. W. Everett, president of the Wash- ington Board of Trade, will be guest speakers at the April meeting of the Wi n Reel Estate Board, to he held next Tuesday Park Hotel, it was announced . today %y_Ben T. Webster, president. Reports of active committees and an- nouncements of new activities of the board will be made at the meeting, to which the full membership of the ‘sev- ! divisions of the organization are Rurjted. jtod. Since January 1, Mr. Webster said, the work of the board had grown so extensively through development of specialized divisions covering brokerage, property management and mortgage finance that the membership as a whole has not had an opportunity of obtain- ing complete report of the progress made, Various committees have been studying policles and practices in the different branches of the real estate field and some new services to members have been instituted. At no time in the history of the board has the realtor membership been so | large as at present. New members ad- | mitted since January outnumber the total increase in members occurring | in any single year since the board was organized. This growth, Mr. Webster | said, was the result of the change in policy adopted in December whereby the organization was put on a more definite basis of membership service. The following new members admitted | to the board since its last meeting will | evening at Wardman be formally presented to the member- | | ship: Maurice Fitzgerald, F. Eliot Mid- | dleton, Carl G.
