McARTH FOUND DEAD. John J. McArth, 67 years old, was found dead in his room at 407 O street southwest this morning, with gas flow- ing from two jets, one of which was partly closed. Joseph Zimberg, with whom he lived, said he went to his room shortly after 11 o'clock.
