b GEORGE GLEIM DIES; SERVICES TOMORROW Electrical Dealer to Be Buried in Baltimore—Survived by Widow. George Gleim, 33 years old, died at his residence, 430 Crittenden street, last night of pneumonia contracted a week ago. Mr. Gleim was born in Baltimore and came to Washinigton seven years ago. Here he married Miss Mary Weber, daughter of Headquarters Detective Sergt. Charles J. P. Weber. He was the owner and manager of the cdelm; | his Electric Co., 608 Newton place. He is survived by his widow, parents, Mr. and Mrs. George H. Gleim, NG TAR, WASHINGTON Arbutus, Md.; two_sisters, Mrs. H. TOKIO, January 16.—Count Sutemi Chinda, 72, lord chamberlain to the died today after a short ill. ness. He was Ambassador to Washing- ton from 1912 to 1916, and also served as Ambassador to Berlin and London. He was graduated from an American university in 1881. AIDED U. In 1921 he accompanicd the present Emperor, then the Crown Prince, on his tour to England and Eu- o) %ount Chinda entered the forcign of- fice in 1886, when 29 years of age, and his promotion was rapid. He served at one time as vice minister for foreign affairs in addition to the position of Ambassador to such important posts as Washington, Berlin and Londén. Hood Accused of Violating Liquor Laws. i After deliberating several hours on the charges of violations of the liquor laws against Miss Ruby Widenhouse, 23, and William K. Hood, 26, a Police Court jury late yesterday reported it could not agree and was discharged by Judge John P. McMahon.
