West Washington Union will present a dramatized program at Cedar Grove Baptist Church tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. This invitation is partly the result of having taken a base ball team out to play there on Labor day. The pro- gram will be built around the life of Moses and will be in the joint charge of Mrs. Violet Warner and Terry { Beach. The boys’ bowling team went | into first place last Saturday by taking all three games, while Kendall was dropping one to Petworth, due to Seavers’ great performance as anchor man. Miss Dorothy Thume's group has charge of the program tomorrow night at Grace Union, using as her subject “The Last Words of Jesus with IHis Disciples.” Fifth Union will have the same subject and will be led by Miss Donna May Sparks. Senior Union, No. 1, of Bethany will have a special program = tomorrow night, led by Myrteen Sisson and her Beta group. “Sacrifices Acceptable to God” is their topic. Bethany post- poned its monthly executive board meeting until November 20, so that all members would be able to attend the revival services now being con- ducted by the Miller brothers at the church every night for the first two weeks in November. Mark Depp will preach at the morning worship service, his theme being “The Basis of Peace.” American University students, under the direction of Dr. Arthur Jackson, head of the department of religion, are | conducting a series of five group dis- {cussion meetings with the Calvary young people. Tomorrow evening at | the 7 o'clock meeting the subject for discussion will be “How Should We Pray.” All young people are welcome to these meetings.
