PARLEY TOBE HELD - ONSUNDAY SCHoL 'Annuai Convention of District Association to Be Held » October 24. P The thirty-fourth annual conven- tion of the District Sunday School Assoclation will be held at Keller! Memorlul Lutheran Church. Ninth street and Maryland avenue north- east, October 24, 25 and 26. The meetings will be held in the eve ning. The gathering on the opening eve- ning will spend most of its time in $roup conferences on special sub- Jects relating to Sunday school work. The elementary group will be led by Miss Hufs Miss Lucas and Mrs Israel. The teacher training group will be led by Dr. Millian. The Young People’s group will be led by Mr. Hockman and Miss Payne of Rust Hall. The superintendents’ group ' will be led by Mr. DeGroot. Tuesday evening will also be de- Yoted to group conferences led by Mrs. Renshaw, on story telling and Mr. DeGroot. David G. Price, Mr. Hockman and Miss Payne. The young people of the Sunday schools will have a special camp fire, under the direction of Col. Cudlipp of Balti- more, followed by entertainment fea- tures in the Metropolitan Baptist +Church. . The Wednesday evening gathering will have brief conference groups led by Miss Fisher, Mrs. Mitchell and Mrs. Israel; also a dinner for super- intendents, addressed by W. W, Mil- lan, for many years president of the Sunday School Association. The principal address of the con- ference will be given Wednesday night by Mrs. J. M. Dawson, of Texas.
