Two Schools Get Modern Equip- ment for New Year. Improved sanitation at the Stanton and Garfield Schools located on Ana- costia Heights, beginning with the opening of school on Monday, Septem- ber 19, was announced today at the Franklin School by Assistant Supt. of Schools Robert L. Haycock. Whereas in the past the pupils at these schools have been provided with out-of-door toilet facilities, in the future modern fixtures will be found in the school basements.
