Secretary to Local Builder Was Prominent Mason. Charles M. Richardson, 55 years old, for the past 18 years secretary to Frank L. Wagner, well known local builder, died at his residence, 3626 Warden street, Sunday. e had been in failing health for the past four years, and had been serlously ill about a week. . Born in Baltimore, Mr. Richardson came to this city at an early age and was educated in the public schools. Upon finishing school he was employed as an_accountant for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, where he worked untl going with Mr. Wagner. Mr. Richardson was a _member of La Fayette Lodge, No. 19, F. A. A. M. of La Fayette Chapter, No. 5, R. A. M of Washington Commandery, No. 1, Knights Templar, and of Almas Tem- ple of the Mystic Shrine. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ida E. Richardson; a son, Charles R. Richardson, and a sister, Mrs. Frank L. Wagner. Funeral services will be conducted at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clgck. Rev. Charles T. Warner, rector of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, will officlate. Civil Service Retirement Body’s President Interred at Arlington. Funeral services for Capt. Jacob W. Starr, president of the United States Civil Service Retirement Assoclation, who died at the home of his daugh- ter, Mrs. Evelyn Starr Ballou, Lyon Park, Va., Saturday, were conducted at the daughter’s residence this after- noon at 2 o'clock. Interment was in Arlington Cemetery. Capt. Starr, a veteran of the Civil War, retired from the Government service five years ago. Announcement is made that John M. Kline, vice president of the United States Civil Service Retirement Asso- clation, will succeed Capt. Starr as president. GRS TURNER WILSON, 92, DIES. Retired Blacksmith Long Resident of Chillum, Md. Turner Wilson, 92, retired black- smith, of Chillum, Md., and lifelong resident of that vicinity, died at the Home for the Aged of the Little Sisters of the Poor Hospital yester- day. He had been ill about a week. Mr. Wilson was born at Rockville, He conducted a blacksmith shop at Chillum for more than 40 years, re- tiring about 10 years ago. He was a communicant og St. John's Catholic Church, Forest Glen. Four sons, Wil- liam E., Eugene C., Brent and Pres- ton Wilson, and one daughter, Mrs. A‘da McDonald, all of this city, sur- vive, day morning, with mass at St. John's Catholic Church, Forest Glen, at 10 o'clock. Rev. C. O. Rosensteel will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery at Forest Glen. o BUSSES ON NEW ROUTE.. Extension of Burleith Line to Northeast Section in Operation. Busses of the Burleith line began operation today over the extension of their route to the Northeast section. Four new busses are being used. The extension authorized last month by the Public Utilities Commission provides bus riders with a cross-town | § service, starting in Burleith and end- ing in the Trinidad section of North- east.
